FAQ

FAQ
Do I provide in-person and/or online appointments?
Both! I offer a hybrid model with my counseling services so that you may meet either in-person or virtually. If you choose to meet online, we will work within my private practice and use a secure, HIPPA-compliant video platform. If you choose to meet in-person, we will meet at an office in Boulder, CO under the umbrella of another counseling agency while I operate as an independent contractor.

Do I accept insurance?
I do not take insurance, but I can provide a monthly "SuperBill" that you may submit to your insurance to request reimbursement. Make sure to let me know if you plan on submitting SuperBills to insurance so that I can provide the appropriate information needed!
What is my speciality?
My speciality is working with adolescents and young adults with presenting concerns relating to life transitions, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and substance use. I also have experience working with clients who are experiencing or have experienced eating disorders and disordered eating patterns.

Do I offer couples counseling?
No, I do not provide couples counseling services. However, I invite clients to bring a significant other or partner into one of our sessions if it relates to our treatment goals.

How long are appointments and what are the costs?
I offer free 20-minute consultations to assess whether it seems like a good fit to work together. If it seems like a good fit, then our first official appointment together is 60-minutes for $216 and used as a loosely formatted intake. After that, you may choose either 50-minute appointments for $180, or 60-minute appointments for $216. Depending on treatment goals, we can proceed by meeting weekly or every-other week.
